Upscale Avenue has started exporting Ibumie Instant Noodles this year to both Middle East & the United State. Sales have been very positive and encouraging. The Export Packaging to both international markets is different from the one distributed in local market, Malaysia, although the recipe remains the same.
Since its introduction, Instant Noodles has been popular with its Soup-Variant Noodles. However in 1980 Ibumie’s innovation led to the launch of the 1st Dry-Variant.

The concept of the Dry-Variant Instant Noodle originates from the China “Dry-Mixed” noodle. However in 1980 Ibumie first launched the product in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, and in order to sync with the Malay speaking consumer, a literal translation was to call it “Mi-Goreng”.
This is how Mi-Goreng or Fried Mee Goreng began!
Today the Dry-Variant or Fried Mi-Goreng from its humble beginning has become a popular variant worldwide. Just think of Spaghetti but with an Asian twist!
